The most important part of my job as a Tech Integration Specialist is to give teachers ideas and examples on how to seamlessly integrate technology into their curriculums. Setting teachers up for success is something that I take seriously, and I find that I am continually differentiating to meet the needs of the teachers in our school district. The "show and tell" or “sit and get” format doesn’t work in our classrooms, so why should we expect it to work with our teachers? After my first year of teaching teachers, I thought about what I could do differently with regards to meeting the needs of our teachers and came up with the idea of creating "App Task Challenges” and challenge based activities during our professional development. Who doesn’t love a little competitive challenge? Come and learn how I am utilizing "App Task Challenges” with my teachers and be ready to participate in some challenges that I have for you!
