iLab: Osmos in the Classroom: A Hands-on iPad Experience FULL

This groundbreaking, award-winning, unique, iPad gaming accessory fosters creative thinking through physical play. In this session, particpants will learn about the device, explore the apps, be introduced to Osmo Academy, and discover how to design their own lessons to integrate within the elementary classrooms. Osmos apps include Masterpiece, Words, Tangrams, and Newton. The Masterpiece app is used for drawing and writing. The Words app is for spelling and vocabulary. The Tangrams app is for mathematical and spatial concepts, and the Newton app is for science exploration and problem solving. After demonstrations on using the apps, participants will be encouraged to explore the devices and experience the wonder of the Osmos!
