When Walt Disney spoke of plussing experiences in his theme parks, it is doubtful he had teachers in mind. However, with the power of iPads in classrooms, it truly begs the question: How are YOU adding to your practice (and student learning) with these mobile devices? This interactive session will have you experiencing and reflecting on new ways of marrying technology with student engagement and focuses on ways to raise the bar on age-old lessons you've been teaching for years. How can you make fractions, and food webs, and colonial times new again??? This session will have you collaborating, contributing ideas, and critically thinking about teaching, learning and better practices.
