These days, it is of utmost importance for educators to foster openness to and awareness of diversity across cultures. Due to the interconnected nature of our world through technology, students can learn more about other cultures and the people behind them than ever before. Project based learning is key to allowing today’s students to reach far beyond their classroom walls to learn about real world problems and develop solutions to them. This session will explain PBL and show specific examples of projects utilizing app smashing and the iPad that take students on this journey.
